About

I’m a professional upright and electric bassist with over 20 years experience of live performance, with a strong foundation in jazz and extensive experience reading charts in big band, musical theater, and orchestral performance environments. I’m comfortable navigating large repertoires, learning material quickly, and supporting artists in both live and studio settings.

I’ve performed in over 20 theater productions across educational and professional contexts, and I bring a consistent, prepared approach to every rehearsal and performance. Whether the setting calls for strict adherence to written parts or stylistic flexibility on the bandstand, my focus is always on serving the music.

Proficient in the Nashville Number System, advanced sight-reading, composition, arranging, and high-repertoire Broadway-style performance, I bring a prepared, consistent, and collaborative approach to every gig. Additional strengths include deep music theory knowledge, perfect pitch, and rapid adaptability in supporting artists across genres.

Currently, I am actively collaborating with vocalist and songwriter Miriam Dance on original songwriting, arranging, and production projects tailored for film, television, and media. While developing this exciting new material, I work to continue to expand my freelance career and pursue innovative musical ventures in Music City.
